When the Brass Ring Grabs You certainly grabbed my attention and kept it. The story is easily believable and the characters could be people that are in your neighborhood. The balance of intrigue and danger, as well as the romance of John and Bonnie kept me awake at night wanting to read more. It was hard to put down once I started to read it. Definitely a good read!!! Now I want more!!!
This book "grabs" you from the get go and doesn't let go until the very end! The main character is easy to relate to because he's your ordinary, everyday Joe. The story is a believable one with lots of mystery and intrigue. The author did a great job describing the characters to the point of rooting for the good guys and looking forward to the bad guys getting what they deserve! It's a great book and I hope to read many more from this author.
For an aspiring author, the story line is great. As he moves into more and more mystery novels, he'll grow. Some of the coincidences are a bit difficult to believe, but all in all he did a good job.
Wow. I was barely able to put this book down for a second after the first few pages got me completely hooked. Nathan Jenkin's narrative here has an immediacy to it that, when combined with the very dramatic life-or-death plot, is incredibly compelling. It's entertaining and incredibly disturbing all at once. This is a book that grips you, draws you in and leaves you feeling a slightly better person for having read it. They say great art leaves you changed after you experience it... and this book definitely did that. Nathan Jenkins has, with one amazing work, propelled himself onto my top shelf.
This book grabs you from the first page and keeps you turning pages till the end. Nathan Jenkins weaves a spellbinding mix of intrigue,action, humor and romance. This author gives you a feel for each character without bogging down in detail. He takes an incredibly crazy set of circumstances and make you feel as if it was happening to you. As I read, I could see it all as if I were watching a Hollywood blockbuster. Eagerly awaiting the next offering from this author. Sequel maybe?
I found this to be an excellent read. A good mix of romance, suspense and drama. I ran across the link when reading a friend's FB page, and checked out the sample. I liked it enough to purchase the book and read it through in two evenings. This book is enjoyable enough that I purchased hard copy as well as edition. If you are looking for a good suspenseful novel, I highly recommend this one. It is engaging enough to not want to put it down until the end.
