Mona Lind thought she'd had an abortion five years earlier. She often wondered if she'd made the right decision, especially after her boyfriend died in an accident. Their child would have looked just like the little boy who was now standing at her desk. But that was impossible, wasn't it? Questions gnaw at her until she hires a private investigator to look into the coincidence. What she finds out will shock you as much as it did Mona.

What if a baby could be kept alive at 12 weeks gestation? Would we still agree or approve of abortion? This book will open up a world of possibility and ask all the big questions. (It leaves the answers up to the reader however as it should). Olson is a beautiful writer, he engages the reader from page one and keeps you till the end. His characters are developed beautifully. You find yourself identifying first with one and then the next of the characters. You empathize and feel for each in turn. I did not want the story to end. I wanted to follow Dr. Beckland on to her next phase in life, I want to know how the medical community and society will embrace (because I am sure they will!) the new technology. I want more! Overall a very enjoyable and thought provoking read.Product details

Baby Impossible edition by David F Olson Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
The book opens with a doctor placing a newborn baby on someone's doorstep. Right away you wonder what is she up to? And is it legal? Then the story shifts to a young receptionist named Mona who sees a boy who looks so much like her dead boyfriend, it's spooky. She's haunted by his looks and filled with questions so she hires a detective to find out more. This book is about more than Mona trying to solve the mystery of the child. It delves into the controversial issues of abortion and right to life. It may make you angry, or cry, or leave you with more questions than answers. You will definitely think about it long afterward.
